According to the World Oil Outlook 2045 released by OPEC on Tuesday, global oil demand will increase by more than 10 percent by 2027 compared to 2021 and by more than 13 percent by 2045, Anadolu News said.

Opec forecasts that global primary energy demand will increase to 351 million barrels of oil equivalent per day by 2045, a 23 percent increase from 2021 levels.

"With strong policy support and falling costs over the long term, other renewables, primarily wind and solar, are the fastest growing and largest category in the energy mix, adding 31 million BPD over the outlook period. Natural gas is expected to increase by 19 million BPD, followed by oil at just over 12 million BPD."
