Ecuador's state oil company says hundreds of Wells have been cut by power outages

December 13, 2010 - Ecuador's state oil company Petroecuador said Monday that weather-related power line damage has affected more than 700 Wells in the country's most productive block in the Amazon region, further affecting crude oil production. In a statement, Petroecuador said it is working to restore normal production after the outage affected 728 Wells.
