Colombia's oil production rose 4% in April from a year earlier

Colombia's crude oil production rose 4 percent in April from a year earlier, the Colombian government said Thursday.

Colombia's oil production averaged 782,277 BPD in April and 752,079 BPD for the same period in 2022, the Ministry of Mines and Energy said in a statement.

Colombia produced 1.028 billion cubic feet per day of natural gas in April, down 6.5 percent from 1.1 billion cubic feet per day in the same month last year, the ministry said.
