The crude oil output of Shengli Oilfield in 2023 exceeded 23.45 million tons

The International Energy Network has learned that the Shengli Oilfield, one of China's main oil industrial bases, will achieve new growth in crude oil production in 2023. Crude oil production reached 23.4512 million tons, and new production capacity increased by more than 200,000 tons year-on-year.

In 2023, Shengli Oilfield focused on increasing reserves, increasing production and reducing costs, and made 4 breakthroughs in oil and gas exploration, 6 large-scale discoveries, and proved 498 million tons of oil geological reserves in offshore oil fields. It produced 23.4512 million tons of crude oil, an increase of nearly 50,000 tons over the same period last year, with a steady production of more than 23.4 million tons for seven consecutive years, and a cumulative production of more than 1.3 billion tons of crude oil, accounting for 19% of the country's total onshore crude oil production. In 2023, Shengli Oilfield will produce 860 million cubic meters of natural gas, 280 million cubic meters more than planned.
