India's crude oil imports rose 2 per cent in May from a year earlier

Foreign news, June 23, data released by the government on Friday showed that India's crude oil imports in May rose 2% year-on-year to 20.4 million tons, compared with 19.95 million tons in April.

Data from the Indian Petroleum Planning and Analysis Group (PPAC) website also showed that India's imports of refined oil products rose 21 percent in May from the previous month to 3.64 million tons.
