China National Offshore Oil Corporation announced on September 24 that China's offshore oil field development project of 100 million tons - Kenli 6-1 oilfield drilling and development project has been completed, and the current oil field has reached the scale of nearly 10,000 cubic meters of daily crude oil.

The field's drilling development program consists of three blocks with 177 Wells drilled on nine drilling platforms. At the same time, this is also China's offshore drilling so far the largest scale, the shortest time, the most platform development project. At the same time, this is the first oil field in domestic waters to use shore power to power drilling platforms. It uses the grid shore power supply to replace the traditional diesel power generation of offshore drilling platforms, which can significantly reduce diesel consumption and effectively reduce carbon dioxide emissions: a single platform can achieve an annual reduction of nearly 10,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.
