Norway's Aker BP completed the acquisition of Lundi Energy's oil and gas business on June 30, 2022, the Economic Daily News reported on July 20.
Aker BP became the second-largest oil producer after Norway's National Oil Company, pumping more than 400,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day, or 10 per cent of Norway's national output. Aker BP plans to invest about $15 billion in oil and gas development by 2030, including about 180 new Wells and exploration projects.
