Global crude oil demand is expected to grow by 3.1 million barrels per day in 2022

According to the monthly oil market report released by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) on August 11, OPEC lowered its forecast for global economic growth in 2022 from 3.5% to 3.1%, and lowered its forecast for global economic growth in 2023 from 3.2% to 3.1%. In addition, OPEC expects global crude oil demand to grow by 3.1 million barrels per day in 2022.
